Hi I have trawled back a couple of years ago and came across a similar thread which was used very successfully to help anxious parents like myself who are waiting for a higher ranked choice and to see if the CI lists move. My son has been offered a place at St CD but we are waiting for his first choice at WGB. I hope that you find this thread useful. It would be a good idea to post once you have declined a place and accepted a higher ranked or independent school. Thanks Jo x

Great idea ,
We are also waiting to see how high we will move up the list of our first ranked school,(DAO) although it would be a miracle if our DD got a place.

I know someone who got WGSB but have decided to go private. So there should be one space! Good luck to all those holding out on the CI lists.

One space for the WGSG as well as parents have decided to go for Habs. Not sure if they have let the school know but I assume that they have to by now.

I know of the following:
1. Boy declined DAO for St Albans Boys
2. Boy declined DAO and Habs for St Albans Boys
3. Girl declined St Albans Girls for DAO
4. Girl declined St Albans Girls for DAO
5. Girl declined St Albans Girls for DAO
6. Girl declined St Albans for Lattymer
7. Girl declined St Albans for Habs
8. Girl declined St Francis for St Albans
9. Girl declined St Francis for St Albans

I know of about 3 declines on Parmiter's academic and one on music.
