11 Plus Exams Forum

Has anybody attended music auditions (or heared about them) in North London grammar schools. DAO has written music test. What does it look like?
They claim that you do not need to know theory of music to pass it ?
How valued are the grades in all those schools?

It looks that not many kids are involved in music , so maybe our chances are high

don't be fooled-fierce competition for 10 music places at dao.my son got one -but hundreds sat it-he is grade 5 and plays 3 instruments.

Do you think one instrument is enough with Grade 5? How does the written test look like like? Is it possible to obtain copies of the last year papers?
