Top 400 State Schools by A level results

QE boys top, Tiffin Girls second and HBS third. Delighted to see DAO at 15th as the highest ranked school in the country that is not 100% selective. Latymer is just one behind them at 16. Good to see Yaveneh up there ahead of all the Watford schools. Surprised to see Parmiters at 75 a lot lower down than Watford Girls at 38 and Watford Boys at 49. DG

Is the 2012/2013 upper sixth form the first year to sit their 'A' levels after the reduction in numbers selected on ability? Previous years would have had an additional 10% selected by ability for the consortium schools.

From memory 74/75 and I think Watford B and G were in the 20's

St Michael's Grammar did well this year too (at number 11), so the new head's approach seems to be working:)

These tables tell you nothing as we do not know entry policy to AS or to continue to A2.
