Sorry Cutting42, thank you too.
(I don't know how I missed your name even though you gave me all the answers I was looking for).

Re: Tutors for music test
Cutting 42, how did you manage to find out about the spacing of the questions? We are hopefully done with tests so it really is just a curiosity thing.
Re: Tutors for music test
Asked my DD after the test as I had a DS for the next year. To be honest it was a few years ago as DD is in year 10 now but I don't think they change the test CD.IHOP wrote:Cutting 42, how did you manage to find out about the spacing of the questions? Re: Tutors for music test
Just a note to say that we subscribed to Hofnote (a modest £8) a few days before the test and presumably so did everyone else! Unfortunately they had server problems and their server crashed; we were unable to do any of the planned (rather last minute) practising. They very graciously refunded the subscription but don't leave it to the last minute like we did
And lesson learned. BTW DS2 didn't get to the next stage (43/60).
In case it helps for the future (at Queens), the boys go to one hall/room and the girls to another. There is a test section at the beginning and they certainly made it fun and it was also quite short - you have to wait for your DC.

HenryVIII, sorry to hear your DS didn't reach the next stage. It's a frustration as most children are desperate to simply shine on their chosen instruments.
