Do primary school heads know of school allocations?

I agree happycow. Ok, I wouldn't have expected our Head to know which school my dd got off the top of her head...but it was her vagueness about the whole thing that surprised me. It was as if she didn't know Monday was 'the day'!

May be she has passed the responsibility of checking the list to some other senior teacher or Dy Head. The Primary Schools have online access to admission files at least a week before Allocation Day for checking purposes.
