Hi I was wondering what percentage my son should be achieving to stand a chance of getting into Parmiters. I'm not sure if he is doing well enough at the practice papers!

Well it depends a bit what papers you are practicing. When my DC did the entry exams we used Bond papers as well at tutoring. My DD was getting around 80% to 85% in Bond and after the consortium test would not have got an academic place at Parmiters, my DS was getting 90% - 95% and would have easily got in at the first pass even outer catchment.

I suspect my DD had a "bad" day and my DS had a "good" one which may have further influenced the results

That's for maths. Verbal reasoning we've only used bond but I'm going to get others.

The VR format has changed to English CEM so you need to be using CEM papers. DG

Is it not still verbal reasoning though? CEM papers seem to be covering all types of tests not just verbal reasoning.

No. It is not Maths, so no codes or alphabet sequencing or missing numbers. Just English VR. DG
