would we expect to see significant movement around May? If so why? are the children mostly now offered/allocated.

Have those who also hold independent school offers already had to pay the first term's fees? If not, that date would presumably concentrate some parents' minds.HJJ wrote:would we expect to see significant movement around May? If so why? are the children mostly now offered/allocated.

When is the deadline for paying the fees? Anyone know? Also second round bucks allocations take place on 29/04
Re: Good luck everyone! Next round of allocations not long
You need to give a full terms notice at private school or be liable for the following terms fees. So if they return to school on Tuesday they would have to give notice by Monday the latest, or may pay their terms fees and decline their state allocation.
However not everyone is worried about possibly having to pay a terms fees if they still aren't sure about their state allocation as they will be saving about £100k in the long run... they may wait until much later to decide. I know a couple of people in a different area doing this.

Hi, we were offered a place at SCD over the easter, on the website it states that letters will be sent out this week to new allocations, has anyone else received one.
We accepted the offer with Harrow council, I don't know whether to phone the school or not?
I sent an email yesterday but have not received a response from the admissions team at SCD
Anyone else received letters ?
