Watford Boys expanding?

Just seen this in the local paper & thought some members might be interested -

Interesting. Does that mean an eighth house? I wonder what they'll call it. Presumably nothing beginning with B, C, F, G, N, P or T.

My guess is Holman, after the headmaster before Mr Post. They haven't used H yet. You heard it here first.

A PAN of 220 will make it significantly bigger than the girls' school (at 180).
The younger sisters of 220 boys is likely to be a larger number than the younger brothers of 180 girls, which will add to the pressure on places at the girls' school.

The article also states that the girls school has been given funding to expand. The school has very limited space so it will be interesting to see how they manage it.

I saw this on the 2017 admissions as the numbers have gone up...

I think the girls is just planning to expand 6th form & not lower school/Y7 entry
