2016/17 scores comparison

Post by Ktcroucher0607 »

The scores last year were low due to the change in paper and the schools advised that the scores should have 25 added to them to compare against historic results ... is this the case this year also ? I am not sure if the score is good enough or not to apply to SCD ....

As far as I'm aware the tests were the same as last year, therefore they compare directly to those. To compare against previous years you'd have to add 25 I suppose.

Last year, the change in format caught many people by surprise.

This year, the children will generally be better prepared for CEM. So the expectation is that scores will be higher. We just don't know how much.

Have all children now sat the test incl those who were ill on the day etc?

Are we now allowed to talk about the test?

It will be good to get some idea how scores are in comparison to last year.
