Post Music score

Hi
My DS got music score of 24. Any possibility to get in Watford (outer catchment).
We live in Pinner and comes in Outer catchment.
Does catchment count for Music score as well.
I see last year stats shows they got in perimeters with a score of 19

We come in outer catchment for Watford but not for Rickmansworth

Have you looked on the school's websites (admissions, historical cut off scores) to compare?

Watford boys was was late 30's and 40's previous years

It shows 2016 as below
37 ? | Parmiter's
12 12 | Queens'
27 19 | Rickmansworth
31 22 | Watford Boys (outer)

Watford boys(outer) shows 22 so not sure if we can get in Watford boys.
We do not come in catchment for Rickmansworth. Is it worth applying for Rickmansworth

My DS got 40 in music, we are very happy. It looks like he has a strong chance for Watford boys.

Why would you apply for a place if you are not in catchment?

There are up to 68 places in total under criteria (5) and (6). We intend to admit up to 66 (97%) pupils from our priority
catchment area, (i) above. The remaining 2 (3%) places will be allocated to category (ii) applicants (applicants from outside
of our priority catchment area).

Taken from Rickmansworth School's admissions policy. The scores for outer catchment places required in previous years are on their website.

We don't come catchment for Rickmansworth.
We come in Watford for outer catchment.
I think there are less chances for Watford Boys with the DS score, so thought of other schools.

My daughter scored 41 in music. We are out of catchment and preferred nearest school is Parmiters. Any thoughts?
