Croxley Danes

I went to the Croxley Danes open evening last night and wondered what others thought. My views

+ve
Based on the proven blueprint and experience of St Clement Danes.
Brand new facilities (eventually).
Non-selective (other than music - I find that slightly odd. If you believe in the need to have a non-selective school why then confuse the matter with selection based on music?)

-ve
Disruption of various sorts until building work is complete.
Uncertainty (planning permission not yet sought). I presume that they have had talks with the planning authority to ensure what they plan to put forward is acceptable.
Limited temporary facilities at the new site e.g. very limited playing fields. I presume the one day a week the children will be at SCD from Sept 2018 is for science and PE.

Any views?

The temporary site will be a small section of the permanent site at Baldwins Lane
