Comprehension

Hi,
I am helping my DD WITH THE TEST FOR 2018,Did they asked comprehension type question in 11+test for last 3 years? when I look at the SW Con Familiarisation paper there is missing letters questions, missing word questions and opposite meaning questions is that the only three type they have been asking in past three years?

Hello,

There are three different types of cloze, missing letter cloze, word bank cloze and multiple choice cloze.

Then there is antonyms and synonyms, shuffled sentences and odd one out.

Also compound words, comprehension and word links and categories.

You need to prepare for all these as there is no pattern to what will come up.

SW Herts has not had comprehension in the past three years but HBS had no comprehension in the first three years then it popped up in the fourth.

If you go on websites at Bexley, HBS and Slough you will see other example papers.

There are lots of great CEM format books in the forum shop. DG
