Herts school allocations are out

Thank you - yes I’ve seen that the school will publish official cutoff on Monday. Just hopeful that someone can put me out of my misery a bit sooner. For example if someone has got in on inner catchment on say 234, or 232 or 230 - that is helpful information as indicates where cutoff is. Otherwise will just have to wait til Monday. (I’m basically fed up with yet more waiting!) so if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Violetsareblue, I think we'll have to be patient until Monday. I am imagining Parmiters will be between 231 and 234. We are waiting to see where we are on the Cl list with a 225 score.

I can tell you from a family friend that WBGS has gone up for outer catchment to 233 from 228.
Every school in SWHERTS is up by 3 to 5 marks.

Thank you for your replies. Yes - will just have to be patient (I suspect for quite a while yet in our case!). At least we find out cutoff score and places on waiting list tmrw.

We are 20th on the Paramiters waiting list. I wonder if we have any chance!

228 was the cut off score for Paramiters this year

Parmiters was our #2 choice (CGS was #1) and DD got #3, our local comprehensive. DD had changed her mind over Parmiters anyway, so as soon as the offer for #3 came through, I withdrew her through Herts website.

The email I got this morning had her at position 23 on the CI list with 225. This was despite me thinking I had withdrawn her. I think I will have to contact Parmiters to confirm she has been withdrawn.

Anyway, this is good news for anyone on the waiting list who does want a place, as obviously there are going to be quite a few people like me who have decided they don't want to sit on the waiting list but for whatever reason, they haven't been withdrawn yet.

Pleased Parmiters cutoff stayed at 228 this year. Hopefully anyone in the mid 220s has a chance. We have 227 and are #7 on the list. Hopefully anyone not accepting will decline their place swiftly. Good luck to all those waiting.
