Doesn't St Clement Danes have places available just on score / musical aptitude?

Anyway, the school can't really prevent anyone anyone from sitting the exam or applying for a place, even if their chance of actually getting in is remote.

Anyone can sit the exam.

The schools in the Consortium then have different admissions criteria.

SCD is the most open - with no catchment limit for the academic entry.

Anyone can apply for SW Herts. Parmiters has non catchment places as does Clement Danes.

The exam this year is on September 8th.

The exam is Maths and CEM, the same CEM as DAO. DG

Parmiter's run two school buses from Hemel Hempstead - HP1, 2 and 3 all fall within the priority postcode area for admissions. So the person you know could well be thinking of applying to Parmiter's, as well as the OOC places for other schools.
