11+ Tutors In Herts

Can anybody suggest how i go about getting the details of worthwhile 11+ tutors in my area? I live in Bovingdon in Herts and have heard a few horror stories

Ask your child's teacher whether s/he would be willing to do it - or if they could recommend a teaching friend. Or grill the current yr 6 parents who got kids into the school you're interested in!
I am a yr 6 mum in SW Herts - people round here are very cagey about tutors. Personally, my DD didn't have one (& she passed!) but her best friend did - but her mum only admitted this last week!
