Has anyone received the offer for your child Sixth form place for Sep 2020 from Parmitter's yet? I contacted the school few weeks ago and they said offers would be sent out by last week. I haven't got any news so far. Not sure if the cancellation of GCSE exams has caused the delayed or change of decisions?

Hi Tina. Many teachers are up to their eyes in it at the moment looking at mock results and trying to predict a fair and honest grade for their Year 11 and Year 13 students. Schools are very much in the dark as to what they are going to have to produce, probably because the exam boards aren’t yet sure themselves, and are preparing for any eventuality. So, yes, that has probably had a knock-on effect on other deadlines.
