has anyone heard anything regarding auditions for the music tests? I was intrested to find out if there is a larger than usual call back this year, as the audition dates appear to have been extended

Hi Lots of children have got letters today re dates for audition all appear to be on the 26th at Boys grammer for our area.

So do you think they have lowerd the score to allow more children to audition? or is there a cut off point and it's just a bumper year? Also do you know what they will be looking for in the auditions? do you get more points for a complicated piece or is it better to play a simple piece really well?

Hi, I have no clue as to whether they have lowered the score. if you look on the frequently asked questions sticky there is advice on what the examiners are looking for in the audition.
