11 Plus Exams Forum

I notice that the Kent page is now out of date, and I was wondering if someone could help me out by explaining what I need to know this year.

For example..
I understand that the 11+ will be held 15/16th September.. is this held in the school?

When do we apply for the schools? Is there one form we fill in (and does the primary school supply it?), or do the individual schools have their own?

Do we only apply for one, or can we give a list?

Many thanks for any one who can help. We live in Dartford, and our main interest is in Dartford Girls Grammar, and the Leigh Academy.

The tests are held in school over the 2 days. The head of your school will go to invigilate in a nother school and their head will come to yours.

It has been a long time since I applied for schools, but you get more than one choice ( can't remember how many now) and put them in order of preference. You will have had the results of the test by then. You will be sent a booklet which had details of all teh secondary schools and the schools hold open evenings ( I think around the end of September) so that you can find out what they do.
