Longfield Academy

We're trying to keep our options open, and looking at the various schools available in our area. One such option is Longfield Academy, which specialises in arts and science.. which I think would suit my daughter.

It was only opened a year ago, so there aren't ofsted reports etc to look at, so I wondered if anyone had any experience of the school, or had heard anything?

Also, I understand that there is a coach service form Dartford.. it's a long shot, but I wondered if anyone had experience of this.. where it goes from, how long the journey is etc.

Many thanks! :)

could be wrong, but wasn't this axton chase, a failing school?

I believe it might be, but according to their website, their results greatly improved last year, after becoming an academy.

As I said, we're looking into all options - if she fails, the grammars are gone; Leigh is very oversubscribed, and also has class sizes of 60; and DTC does not have a very good ofsted report.
