Hi all

Commiserations to those who didn't pass and congratulations to those who did. Does anyone know what the minimum score has been for Skinners in past years? Thanks.

You can try phoning the school and asking, but from what I remember it seems to be about 407 on first allocations, dropping to around the 400 mark after waiting lists.

I have down from elsewhere on this website (last years posts)
2008 404
2009 406

Could be higher this year though as from feedback, parents seem to be favouring Skinners over Judd this year.

Skinners eventually went down to 406 last year, but not all children on this score got a place. Went on distance in the end.

Thanks for replies. My son got 405....but I kind of preferred the look and feel of TWGSB to Skinners.

As a matter of interest, what is a typical minimum for Judd?

Eventually 414, again not for all pupils (closest)

So on first allocation Judd would have been higher? DS got 415 and we were considering Judd, but perhaps this is too low for this year.

Just when you think the agonies are over, you now have to make the choice of school.

I think that Judd started at 414 last year (not everyone got in on this at first) and ended at 412. But you're right that this year may well be different.

Does anybody know whether a score in the high 390's would be enough to qualify for a place at Skinners?
