usually just 15 as found on the GL/Letts NfER practice papers, very occasionally the other 6 (aka HIKNOS types) crop up. I usually cover them briefly just in case

We dont need HIKNOS in kent which is 16-21 when you are using the IPS verbal reasoning book. As per yoyo's instructions we are doing the basics too. Do you have the IPS VR book?

This is by far the best book I found to start with and its done according to the different types so its easy to see what you need and dont need. Of all the 11+ books I really like how easy and step by step this is when you are clueless as I was with VR

Off to buy it now.

So far we've only done two sets of vr and nvr tests, early on in years three and four.

Thanks again,

Apparently, the cube type was not in this years paper, but was in the previous 5 years papers.

Yoyo - I'm sure that last year you directed me to a list of examples of each type in a free download on this site which was really useful as check that my DS could do them all. I can't find it on the site now. If you know where it is it would be useful if you could direct people to it. Or perhaps its been removed?
