Or, I meant to say, take up one of the empty places at Folkestone ... no "waiting list" needed I guess if there are that many empty places.

they did something like that last year Mystery, some children from the west were allocated places at the Harvey, but it is a long way to travel.

Children from Romney Marsh also travel quite a way to get here, but there is a bus as there are quite a few of them. The "marsh 'uns " as Miss Yoyo called them

When I was at Folkestone School for Girls myself, we had girls travelling from Deal and Ashford outskirts, but no further away. It makes it all such a horribly long day with too much travel.

Definately spaces at Folkestone. Also Borden, Chatham House Girls, Dover Grammar boys and a few at Gravesend boys and girls. Some at Invicta and Highworth also.
Wilmington (boys and girls) also have a few each.
