Skinners to merge with Skiiners Kent Academy?

Anybody see the interview in yesterday's Tunbridge Wells Courier with Simon Everson, the Skinners headmaster critisizing the local authority control over his school, and saying how much freedom academies have?(It can be found on line) Could he be paving the way for a merge with Skinners Kent Academy?

I didn't get that impression. But perhaps thats just wishful thinking on my part.

I don't think so either, it's just that an acquaintance read it and told me about it. It hadn't even occurred to me, but I just wondered what others thought.
