Post subject: Illness during 11+ test
PostPosted: Wed Jan 10, 2007 10:54 pm
My daughter was unfortunate enough to be ill towards the end of her Maths paper today. She lost almost 10 mins and so didn't finish about five questions out of 50 and probably did the last few badly(?). My daughter really likes maths, so hopefully she got most of the previous ones right.

Her teacher wrote a note explaining what had happened to send with the paper. My daughter saw her doctor on Monday because, like the rest of the family, she was ill with a virus and she has seen the same doctor today, who has written a letter stating she has been ill. My daughter wasn't sufficiently ill to miss the exam.

Does anyone know what will happen now in terms of marks? Will allowances been made for time lost, and if so, any idea what this would consist of? This must have happened to other people, I just don't happen to know any of them! Any info would really be appreciated!!
