Good Paperpack

Post by pdharmendra »

Could anyone suggest which paperset is good for practice? So far my daughter has completed Bond and Lets for all papers. Should buy from WHS Smith???

Thanks in advance

When is your DD takng the 11+?

I got practice papers and teh "how to do" books on Amazon because I hate going in to TW as parking is so awful!

Smiths do them though. I must confess I don't do too many papers (have one DD who passed already and one about to do it). I work on their mental maths, make sure they know their times tables back to front and upside down.

Even if they don't read (and I have one who is not keen and the other who is a voracious reader) they can still be read to or listen to CDs. My daughters have both "read" teh classics in this way on car journeys. Make sure they keep reading aloud to you, even if only for a few minutes a day.

Things like Sudoku and word puzzles are good too (free in most newspapers).
