The Mead School
I'm moving to the TW area with my daughter from London and have looked at The Mead School as a pre grammer school option. She is 9 and will be attending for just over a year. Can anyone give me any feedback?

We live near the Mead but our children don't go there.
There are such good state primaries in TW that it's worth looking around.
The Mead hasn't got an amazing reputation as far as I can tell from friends who have kids in private educatio but I can't speak from personal experience. Kent College, Rose Hill, Beechwood and Holmewood House are considered very good.

Hello,
Could I offer a little balance? The school received an Outstanding Inspection Report in June 2011, and 81% of pupils who entered the Kent Selection this year (October 2011) were successful.

As a parent of a former pupil I cannot praise it highly enough. The school has a lovely atmosphere and all the children are happy. All abilities are catered for really well and the music and drama are exceptional.
