yes, you must go and view papers, but be prepared..you will not be able to have a copy of anything, except your DC's written piece. They dont even like you making notes. My DS only completed half the NV paper but was correct in all he had done....So, he was slow, but at least he got them right :oops:

we called kcc and they said they are not making papers available for review this year due to a change in policy.
has anybody else been told that?

Hi, Seems it may have been bad advice from KCC.

Ref other thread: http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 19&t=17224" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We were specifically told about a policy change. Guess it's just a lottery as to who picks up the phone when you make the call. :roll:

Could it be as a result of the info. given on this site. Perhaps there has been a big increase in the requests to view, and KCC have decided they can no longer cope.

TKM, they dont take your details over the phone, its all done by email.

Just email them the request with pupils ID no and your child's name.

yes you will be given a date and lots of people will view at the same time. You have a right under freedom of information act as i understand it and i guess its just them trying to put people off!!! some hope! :lol:

I waited till earlier this year, after the mad rush, before going to view my DS's papers and I was the only one there.

Well I have asked for the papers and have had a reply.... no date yet but they haven't said no or ignored me.

It was parent consultation tonight at primary and head and Y6 teacher said I should appeal as they are really upset that he didn't pass... we'll see...
