I completely agree with you on this one and I always dig a school's websites to find these things

All you is go to google search and type "site:schoolwebsiteaddress.com pdf"

I add the pdf at the end because most communication and newletters are in that format. In this case it would be site:http://www.twgsb.org.uk/ pdf

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=&q=si ... 3&ie=UTF-8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

mystery wrote:Yes it sounds like they have made a sensible choice with this. Apparently at TOGS they are wanting more girls to do the IB so they have cut back on A' level subjects on offer. This apparently is upsetting many of the current year 11s as they have only just been told some of the A levels are being axed. So maybe TWGBS will get some TOGS girls next September!!
TWGSB still offering a very wide choice of A levels so hoping DS will stay there for 6th form. They have increased requirement to 6 grade Bs for acceptance to 6th form and are also advising boys to choose subjects they scored an A in. Sounds very sensible when viewed with differing chances of an A grade at A level depending on grade obtained at GCSE.

More girls in 6th form would be fab as my ideal school for DS would have been mixed grammar!!
