TGS travel route

Post by Hedder »

Hello all,
I am wondering if there are any others out there with dd who travel - or will be travelling - in to TGS from the Ashford direction? ( Pluckley? Marden?Staplehurst?Paddock Wood?) Any information - or thoughts -about which train is going to get in at the necessary time would be very welcome...it would also be great to know that there will be others on this route!?

The traveline website is good for working out travel routes.

I had an acquaintance who travelled from Ashford to 'The Judd' every day by train. It's around 40 minutes each way station to station, for an 11 year old I thought that was not ideal, but that's my personal opinion. Of course as they get older they manage it better (if they can get out of bed early enough  ).

There are usually the odd few that travel up from as far as the coast, and the closer to Tonbridge you get the more DC get on.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery.
