Re: Ashamed but so proud
I suppose if you're in the super-competitive, super selective zone then you have to do loads. In my bit of Kent, where thankfully you need to get round about 60% for a place I jsut think there are better, more constructive things to do with their time.
Re: Ashamed but so proud
It is possible to do a test paper a day and find time to roll around on the floor with the dog ( although I suppose that's not particularly constructive....quite therapeutic though ! )
Re: Ashamed but so proud
my DS prefers to roll around with DS2....still therapeutic...scarlett wrote:It is possible to do a test paper a day and find time to roll around on the floor with the dog ( although I suppose that's not particularly constructive....quite therapeutic though ! )
Having one child makes you a parent; having two you are a referee.
Re: Ashamed but so proud
..............and DH is quite partial to floor time too !!!
Re: Ashamed but so proud

Re: Ashamed but so proud
The dog as well. I'm far too busy getting my children through the 11 plus !
Re: Ashamed but so proud
Now that sounds very therapeutic. Shame we haven't got a dog!
Re: Ashamed but so proud
Yes I think my DH would prefer rolling round with a dog too. We don't have one so he has some other hobbies instead
