Testing for poss Year 8 GS place

I have been advised by Kcc that each grammar school in our area (West Kent) devises their own tests to assess suitability. I have contacted the schools we may apply to next year for a year 8 place in Sept 2012 to get some idea of the tests that ds will be asked to sit and realised that it truly is a variety. Skinners have papers in English,Maths and Science as do TWGSB and I think Judd work along similar lines . MGS get potential year8's to sit QR,NVR and VR . Every school has told me that they do not provide any sample papers etc so although I will ask again after half term I wondered does anyone have any experience of testing for this year group please,particularly in West Kent ?
