Cranbrook
With regard to the new admissions policies am I right in believing that cranbrook school - which starts at 13 years and caters for all the prep schools in the area ( it is a state day/boarding grammar school)- has had to revise its policy of interviews and head teacher appraisal and rely on results of tests?
I note that along with NFER they will set their own tests - will these be in latin?
Would love to know more - does anyone know what will happen?

Hello
Boarding schools can still interview candidates etc to decide if they are suited to boarding. I'm not sure to what extent it interviews candidates for day places at the moment but if it does so I guess that might change. I can't see why head teacher reports wouldn't still be permissible under the new guidelines.
