Hi Can someone please tell me what 'he who can not be named' website is? I have one ds at Skinners one dd at TGS but this year have only been able to secure a comp for 3rd child despite passing well (although being OOC) cut off scores are way higher this year than when my eldest started at GS 4 years ago and i am sure the recessioon has played it's part! :?

A friends son living in Chipstead (near Sevenoaks) has not got into Judd with a score of 418 :(

Gosh. I suspect that the high cut offs for Judd and Skinners is going to have had a huge knock on effect for admission to TWGSB

These scores are frightening. If anyone knows what the governor place scores for TWGGS this year is, I would be very grateful to know.

'He who can't be named' runs a 'Independent Education Advice' online site in 'Kent'. He has a useful news section covering education issues in Kent. He also offers an appeals service for those wishing to pursue appeals.

I'm not sure whether this is of some comfort or not. Last year, the Judd cut-off was 417 and we got in on 416 through the waiting list process. We were the sixth place of six places offered in the first round of waiting list allocations. We live 10 miles away.

I'm actually surprised that the Judd cut off hasn't reached a maximum 420. I fully expected it too!

For those who got into Judd, either today (or in the future), please pm me if you have any questions about starting at Judd.

without wishing to alarm people I'm hearing that boys with passes and scores of 413 and below are getting knole academy despite not having it on their list.

A bit of Googling should do the trick!

I can only tell you that when MGS first brought in the 390 stage - three years ago - about a third got in on 'over 390', the rest on straight pass then location/ distance from school.
