It's here on their website too:

http://www.sevenoakschristianschool.org.uk/?p=799" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I was a betting person, I would have placed a bet on that one being approved.

Has there been any further progress or news on the Sevenoaks Grammar school? The website has not changed since April.

There's a big article in the Chronicle this week. It doesn't add much but suggests that a decision re location of the school is days away and that it will open in September 2015 :( . So I guess - but next week's Chronicle for the next instalment..........

Ah thanks. Must buy the Chronicle. Maybe someone at KCC has shares in the Chronicle.

The BBC has just put an article on its website to say that KCC have identified the Wildernesse site as the location for the new GS and refers to it being a satellite of schools in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. Fairly vague but presumably a development. I don't know how to post the link to the article, but its in the Kent news section of the BBC site

Good question. There is nothing in the article about it.

People have mentioned Dorton House as a possible location for the Christian school but I seem to remember that I read an article,possibly in the Chronicle about another possible use for that site - a hotel maybe....

It will be interesting to see any follow on from today's article on the BBC website.

Have just read the article. It doesn't have dfe approval yet so even if it does ultimately happen the timescale is uncertain - grammar school I mean. Makes the Christian school opening this sept look very tough?
