As this is my first 11plus, can anyone tell me roughly when Kent notify you of the test centre you will attend?

Can't remember exactly, but definitely later than I would have expected, and late enough to generate a slight panic. That bit I do remember!

Got test centre letter today - off to Wilmington Grammar! eek its getting close now!

We just got back from holiday this afternoon and our letter was waiting for us - we'll be off to Judd. Eeek indeed!!

Is it normal for Kent to give a test centre that's nowhere near where you live?

We live in West Kent but our letter specifies Maidstone as the test centre, even though it seems that the tests are also being held at grammar schools much closer to us.

Yup - two years ago we got Ashford and we live in Medway - others got Sittingbourne or Gravesend!

I have had no such letter at all...............starting to panic!!!
But, as my DD will be doing it at her current primary school, do we just not get sent a letter?

I assume it's just us OOC applicants who get the letters as we sit at test centres on Sat 15th September - 3 weeks tomorrow

What date will your DD sit the tests GPmum?

DD test will be 12th & 13th September............
Wouldn't it be good if we could pass on some tips to all those not sitting it until the 15th!!??
