Judd, Skinners, TWGSB

Post by CoffeeCup »

Does anyone have to hand the lowest score to be offered a place at the first round of allocations for each of these schools, over the past few years? I know I have read it somewhere but can't find it now

Thanks.

Last year the score for Judd was 418(with some boys in Sevenoaks still not getting in on 418), Skinners was 414 and the catchment distance on the first round allocations for TWGSB was about 8.7 miles. I am not sure what the final scores for Judd and Skinners' came down to in the end.
Hope this helps. :?

Last year Skinners' went down to 412, by the time it came to appeals, although there were still 2 boys at top of waiting list on 412 as far as I know.

I have a year 8 boy at Judd. Two years ago, the cut off point was 417. He got in on the first round of waiting list places with a score of 416. There were six places offered, and we are approx 11 miles away. I was told that he had the sixth place (which means number 7 on the waiting list lived further away). I'm not sure how many places were offered later. Not sure whether this helps or not, but I thought it may be useful.

I know last year, as mentioned above, the scores were higher.

Pheasantchick isn't the Judd waiting list done by score?

Hi

Its score then distance ie
416 place 1 distance from school 0.5 miles,
416 place 2 distance from school 10 miles ,
416 place 3 distance from school 20 miles, until all the 416 have been allocated.

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?
