I vaguely remember hearing something recently regarding KCC offering free travel to all children again. Has anyone heard anything? I can't seem to find anything on KCC's website

There's a review where they may reconsider providing free transport to grammar and faith schools, even if its not their nearest school. This ended a while back.

On the KCC website under school transport, there is a question and answer section which mentions free transport to your nearest grammar but then goes on to say it's free for the nearest three . Certainly, my ds doesn't go to his nearest grammar....although both are in the Maidstone area.....and he's allowed a free pass.

Oh, just rechecked the nearest three is for those applying under a low income. Looks like it's still the nearest one.
