How many have applied to take the Kent test in 2013?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows how many have applied to take the test this year. Is it more or less than last year? Birth rates are low so hopefully our children stand a fair chance of getting through even if they score low passes.... Here's hoping!

Have just found out that more children are sitting it this year than in 2012!!!

How many this year and last year? Just because the overall numbers have gone up it may not necessarily mean competition for passing and places is higher.

This is a boom year in South London, whereas last year and next were smaller. How many more are sitting? Shouldn't make much difference to the test I guess, as it will be percentages getting through, but may make applications trickier.

5494 passed including out of county. Up by 125ish on last year.
Mine didn't pass, although great score of 374 total and an HTA.
Appeal about to be started.

Do you know how many GS places there are available in Kent this year? (I realise it changes year-to-year)
