Hi everyone,

Please can anyone advise on the chances of getting a good grand for appeal or trying the waiting list for my DS in Kent - Wilmington and Gravesend grammar school. My DS scored 380 at the last Kent 11+ exam, he was deemed selective and we listed Wilmington boys and Gravesend grammar school on our CAF form. My DS is so upset, any advice n what to do next? can I appeal or add him to thewaiting list with this score.I am totally confused!

You can do both.

As he passed I assume you are too far away at the moment?

There will be movement over the next month as people accept/ decline, and in april (poss 23rd?) KCC will allocate the first set of waiting list places. If you are reasonably close you may get in then. Then there are apppeals, and waiting lists continue to be held by the school.

Look around this site for lots of good advice.
