Highworth Grammar

Post by sweethome »

DD has got into Highworth. Does anyone know whether the school divide them into classes according to 11+ score or SATs score or just randomly?
I just received an optional form from Highworth today for DD to put down people she likes to be in the same class with. Although she has friends going there too, she is not particularly bothered about that. Is it worth to put down some names or just leave it?
any advice will be appreciated!

Whilst not wishing to suggest that primary school friendships do not survive the move to secondary school, in reality, dynamics will change as they mingle with a larger number of contemporaries.

If your DD has no particular feelings either way, you could say that although she would be happy to be placed with any of the others from her current school, equally she does not really mind how the school decides to place them.
