Main consensus from those i know is leave Wok alone.

Whether a grammar in Sevenoaks is justifiable or not ( verdicts out on that one) it shouldn't impact on an existing school.

Selfish ? Perhaps but there is a lot of anger at the stupid annexe criteria.

Is it me or have the Pro Sevenoaks Grammar lobby gone very quiet :?

A newsletter from the governors posted on the WoK website yesterday makes no mention of the consultation process just ended but does suggest the school is going ahead with proposals for a 3 FE girls' annexe in Sevenoaks:

[I hope this link works; if not, could someone else please try?]

I wonder if it really does mean they have made a decision "to proceed" or if it's just ambiguous wording. And of course "proceeding" can mean putting in another proposal to the DfE that fails.

If they were proceeding they would surely now launch the real consultation process as required in the DfE guidance?
