Tired of waiting already! Results day planning......

15 long days - I just can't bear it!

What to do with myself (and my thoughts) until then......

I asked my DD what she would like to do on results day, her reply:

If I pass, let's go out for a family meal and if I fail I'll go upstairs and cry.....

Managed to get the word 'fail' out of the equation, changed 'cry' to huge hugs and either way a family meal to celebrate how proud we are of her regardless.

My DD has never doubted her academic ability until now... Just keeps telling me she had to guess the last 5 questions on the maths paper...... Grrrrr GL Assessments.

I wonder if the pass mark will be lower than previous years?

It does seem such a long wait this year. I'm finishing work a little early, so I can be at home with her in case it's bad news.

I'm sure it's harder this year because the new format seems to be making things less predictable and everyone seems to have the jitters!

I guess we've just got to trust that headteachers will do the right thing for those who really should have made it but haven't quite!

We're off to see Ed Sheeran so hopefully either way, hopefully my daughter will have a good night.
