My dd got 390 and we are OOC so, I am not sure this is enough for year. Last year the cut off was 412.

I don't really know how OOC applications work, do you not get 4 choices? If it's on your form somewhere you can at least go on waiting list and appeal.whythis11plus wrote:My dd got 390 and we are OOC so, I am not sure this is enough for year. Last year the cut off was 412.

Last year the pass mark was 360 though, and this year 320, so even if the fall is not as far, it is likely to be below 412.

Last year's final cut off was 386 in county and 388 out of county.whythis11plus wrote:My dd got 390 and we are OOC so, I am not sure this is enough for year. Last year the cut off was 412.

I am new to this forums. DD scored 406, we are OOC, so far we are targeting Newstead Wood and Townley (she did well in those two tests as well), just wondering whether we should put Togs as first preference as league tables show Togs is better than the other two, any suggestions?

League tables tell one side but you need to have a feel for a school. Does she want to follow the IB rather than national curriculum for one ?
