Dartford Grammar from Bromley

Does anyone's son currently travel from Bromley to Dartford Grammar, and if so how do they find it? Do they take the school coach service, or some other form of public transport? If the coach, how reliable is this, is there ever any problem with lateness, and what do they do on days where they have after school clubs etc? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi
My son travels to Wilmington from Orpington on the coach service organised by NKST they drop to Dartford Grammars as well. They are very reliable unless of course there are unforeseen traffic problems on M25, they normally notify school or parents of delays. My son is in year 10 and he has never been late for school but is often between 10 - 20 mins late in the evenings.
With regards to after school clubs at Wilmington then I am afraid you will have to make arrangements to collect your son or car share with someone. I assume this is the same for Dartford Grammar.

Hi. My DS travels from Bromley to DGS. He's in Year 8. He gets the coach in the morning but as he does after school stuff 3 or 4 days a week he gets the bus and train home. Last year we paid for a full coach place (ie morning and afternoon) but as he was only using the coach to come home once or twice a week we applied for a morning only place this term. The coach is slow because of the route and number of pick ups and is quite often late or just on time so from next term DS is going to get the bus and train.
