Number of Questions in the Papers
Hi Can anyone help?
Trying to find out how many questions there were and how long the Maths/Literacy test and the Reasoning test was last year.
I have read through the familirisation booklet but they do not give numbers.

Re: Number of Questions in the Papers
I can't remember about the reasoning, but the Maths was 30 questions in 25 minutes.
The Literacy was also 25 minutes, and I think it was 12-16 SPAG questions and 8(?) comprehension questions.

Thanks for the response, the maths seems really tight wheras the literacy seems very generous.

Re: Number of Questions in the Papers
Yes, I expect they will change it this year as I know very few that finished the Maths; indeed I think the pass mark went below 50% raw score. Similarly, the English was too easy with no age standardisation available at the top end.
So I'd expect changes to both this year, as it was far from fair or perfect last year.
