My DD has gone in to do her practice tests today. She was invited to go to a sleepover tonight so she asked me "if I try really hard in my practice tests today can I go?"
Kids! Priorities are slightly different to ours I think!
Anyway, I was going to let her go anyway but I cunningly said "well ok if you're going to try very hard then yes"

DS says todays practice tests were NFER 11A tests. Does anyone know if this is correct, or is he talking a load of Baloney. Don't want to interrogate him further, because trying to keep yhings low key at the moment. But it would be helpful to know, because could influence the content of last minute revision/practice. Thanks.

My son said the same - at least he said NVR was 11A, didn't mention what the VR was. Mind you, mine isn't always a reliable source of information either, but between then maybe they've got it right!dadofkent wrote:DS says todays practice tests were NFER 11A tests. Thanks for prompt reply. Problem is we have been through the NFER papers in the last couple of weeks, including NVR 11A only last night! Therefore, the practice tests today ahve not really been much use in giving him a proper feel for the tests, or identifying any problem areas. (seems to have boosted his confidence though, to the extent he has said he can be excused doing any more work for the next 4 days).

Bet he'll do well on the practice test then! If it's boosted his confidence, I think I'd take the advice of the sage old souls on here and give it a rest now.dadofkent wrote:Thanks for prompt reply.
