Just got my kent results from school

Post by neverdie »

Hi,

I live outside Kent (charlton) and got 367

Is this good enough for any Kent Grammar?

Thanks

Well done, that's a great score! I'm not sure if you're looking a boys or girls schools? Re boys, it changes every year but I don't think that score will be high enough for DGS and as WGSB go on distance I'm pretty confident that you're too far away. Same for Wilmington girls. I'm not sure about DGSG though .... I'm sure someone else will be along soon to advise.

Were there any other schools in Kent you were thinking of? I'm assuming that Skinners and Judd are just too far away?

In West Kent if that relates, it's good enough for those that basically ask for just a pass eg TWGGS, TWGSB, Weald, Cranbrook (as long as you live close enough etc based on individual criteria).

It'll be borderline for Judd if you're in catchment (definite no if OOC) and a probable no for Skinners and TOGS.

But a great score, you must be very pleased and relieved! :)

I've a notion that Skinners eventually went down to 359 last year? Another OOC parent nervously waiting...

I think Gravesend go on distance not score, if you call the school they should be able to tell you how far they went out last year.
