Yes that exactly!

Thanks for your advice ... it looks gravesend might be worth a shot.... anybody know if this score is good enough?
I think Gravesend go on distance not score, if you call the school they should be able to tell you how far they went out last year.
Skinners score barely moved last year - a friend of mine's son went from something like 36 to 33 on the list. I think the Judd changes are having a huge impact. My son is in Y9 and we are very much hoping the younger DSs will follow, but with people from OOC putting Skinners ahead of Judd now that they have an inner and outer catchment, it's impacting on the scores (and anecdotally the CAT scores are FAR higher this year amongst the Y7 cohort) and so we're far less confident they will get in.

It's a great score, very. My son's score just arrived ... arrived by email hahahhahaha. First son is in DGS, we are not catchment but he entered, but we know people who had lower scores. Keep praying , we did London schools for practice and passed them all and son is not going there so there would be people who would pass but not go. Point is , score is great , depends on how many people actually put a school on the forms... hope I am not rambling .

Congratulations on the high score - it is needed if the child is OOC. I called Dartford Grammar Boys and asked about last year's cut off score for OOC: it was 387. Have you looked at the test data sheets for this year? They were posted on Kent site this afternoon, next to last and year before. It looks to me as if the OOC cut off this year will be even higher for Dartford Grammar, could even push over 400 or get very close to it..... we are OOC and would be targeting Dartford Grammar because of their policy to admit quite a number of OOC children, regardless of distance. This was the first test my son did and he scored very high indeed; now we need to wait until we get the result from Essex test - he wants to go to Essex school, so far, I prefer Dartford (did not tell him) - he will decide (if he has the luxury of two very high scores) - after all, it will be his seven years of life to spend..... we do not wish to be under pressure for having chosen the school for him, he knows what he wants.
