Afternoon folks *doffs hat*
I wondered if any one else has got a Kent break down on the 'reasoning score' into the VR, NVR and spatial reasoning sections. Reasoning seems to be a big chunk so it would be good too see how it shakes down...
I asked for our kiddo and I'm waiting for a reply...
thanks

Afternoon all. I found these scores very useful last year so here goes. FYI - I just requested my son's raw scores and they came back within 30 minutes:

My son was 10 years 8 months:

350 broken down as:-

English = 107 (!) / 14
Maths = 110 / 12
Reasoning = 133 / 62

His Maths scores was 15-20% below his mocks, so we were quite shocked. English was always touch and go in the run up (always 50-60% in test papers) but I'm really pleased with 107 as I keep reading that lots of children missed the English paper by a few marks (sounds like it looked easy on the surface but tripped quite a few up).

Glad it's all over - now to prep son No.2 who's in year 4 - I have learnt so much along the way that I won't be making the same mistakes.

I would imagine some questions have a different weighting, e.g. doesn't a simple addition question score less than an algebra question

DS was 10years 11.5 months.

English 18/25 = 117
Maths 14/25 = 113
Reasoning 53/80 = 123

Total 353

He was averaging about 70% of the questions right during practice papers, but test turned out at 65% of questions correct.

I think the standardised score also takes age into account (and not just where rest of the cohort is). My daughter had 17 and still translated into 117 where Paula555's DS had 18 with same standardised score.
