Hi. My only child is currently going there sept 18 too. We live in Bexley, and would have preferred Townley as it is so close she can walk, but I think they are both excellent schools results/ofsted wise (never heard bad things from other parents with kids at Wilmington).

Speaking to the school about appealing the Bexley result, and not knowing which way to go between the 2 schools, I was given the advice that Wilmington is one of the most nurturing schools, which is a big thing for us as i'm trying to strike a balance between encouragement and aiming for the best you can be without excessive pressure.

Had you had a chance to go to the open evening/day in oct? They mentioned they are planning improvements to the sporting facilities, which is maybe one of the areas where it looks a bit tired compared to other local schools.
